The Onward Israel Remote program offers you the opportunity to develop your professional future and build your resume through a high-level internship experience. The program provides the ability to build upon connections and grow both professionally and personally this Winter, all from the comfort of your own home, dorm, or wherever you are based.

Intern 15-20 hours per week with an Israeli organization based on your skills, interests and future goals. Embrace the opportunity to work on a professional project and build connections alongside Israeli colleagues and employers. Onward Israel Remote will provide a broad menu of remote enrichment and educational activities to share Israel’s rich life, challenges, and how they relate to you.

This Onward Israel program is operated through a partnership between the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other leading philanthropists. It is organized by Destination Israel.

    Important Information

If you choose to participate in the remote program you will still be eligible to apply for any future Onward Israel program. You can easily expand upon your winter experience and network by participating in a Summer 2021 Onward Israel Program!

Remote Internship Opportunities: Participants will be paired with an Israeli company or organization and assigned work projects to complete over the course of the program. It is expected that participants complete their work projects during the designated dates of the program and fully participate in all required enrichment and education activities. Please note some internship fields lend themselves to remote work more easily than others and there could be limitations on the types of internship placements available. Onward Israel is committed to making sure participants have a meaningful, professional, and positive work experience.

    Sample Internships:

    – Content Strategist internship for a small social entrepreneurial start-up
