“I am currently working for Camp Shutaf, a nonprofit inclusive summer camp that integrates children of all ages with and without special needs. My job is to help create programs for the kids to do when the camp starts, working behind the scenes for the organization.

Taking part in Onward IsraeLinks, I hoped to develop a connection to the community and the organization I was working with. I wanted to feel like an Israeli, working and living in Jerusalem. Taking the bus to work, buying groceries, and traveling around the country all contributed to the amazing time I have had in the holy land. I could not have asked more from this program and am so thankful to Onward IsraeLinks because I have now gained practical skills in my field of education and a new love for Israel!”
