• Lucy K. – Boston Tel Aviv, Summer 2018

“My internship has been a great learning experience and it has helped open my eyes to Israeli culture. I am interning at the NGO, Matzmichim. Matzmichim is a center for violence reduction in the State of Israel and the organization’s goal is to develop and implement strategies and specific professional tools for fostering a non-violent environment in Israeli schools. The organization conducts numerous workshops which include classroom interventions and trainings for teachers, students, and staff throughout Israel.

My typical day in the office includes working on grant proposals and helping out around the office. I am a political science major and I am getting a minor in communications. I am excited to see how the experiences in my internship will help me in the future. While I am sad that this summer is almost over, I am so glad that I have met such amazing friends and have gained valuable skills from my work experience.”
