• Liza P. – Boston Jerusalem, Summer 2018

“This summer, I had the honor of working at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in the Hematology Department. I worked alongside the most dedicated nurses I have ever met. As an aspiring physician assistant, I gained integral skills to prepare me for my career. I was able to assist patients with their daily life-skills, including bathing, eating, and moving throughout their rooms. I had the privilege of being trained in how to take vital signs. I will continue to utilize this skill in the future. The patience, compassion, and dedication I saw in the department is what I will take with me to the U.S. especially when treating my own patients. I would like to thank the nurses at Hadassah for showing me how to be a selfless future healthcare provider. The nurses represent the Israeli people by the way they put others before themselves.”
