• Jasmine B. – Arts & Culture, Summer 2021

“My name is Jasmine and I’m from New York. I’m interning at the Israeli Democracy Institute (IDI), a “think-and-do-tank” dedicated to upholding democratic values in a Jewish state. I am studying public policy and international affairs at Princeton University, so this internship is perfectly suited to my interests. Right now, we are preparing for the Eli Hurvitz Conference, Israel’s most influential conference on the economy and society. I am currently writing a summary of IDI’s achievements for the attendants of the conference, which include the Prime Minister, members of the Knesset, businessmen, and public servants. After the conference, I will continue to research, write, and edit policy proposals in English. Even after only a few days of working at IDI I have learned so much, and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the summer holds!”
