Eli N. – Government & Politics, Summer 2021

“I’m from Munster, Indiana and I’m a rising junior at Washington University in St. Louis. I’m a research intern at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, a national security focused think tank run by former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Dore Gold. I am working under Retired IDF Brigadier General Yossi Kuperwasser, analyzing Israel’s growing ties to the developing world and determining how this impacts its relationships with their historical partners like the United States and Germany. The team at the Jerusalem Center has high expectations for the other interns and I, making sure we are challenged but always being available to help. They also give us lots of advice for our life here in Israel. I’m excited to see the final product of my research at the end of July!”
