Ariel W. – New York, Summer 2021

This summer, I was so lucky to be given the opportunity to participate in Onward Israel, living in Tel Aviv and doing an internship. As a summer intern at Lance, I’ve truly gained so much. I got the opportunity to learn about startups, the fintech space, marketing, and what a day to day looks like in a professional work environment in Israel. I’m still growing my background in finance, so I didn’t ask for anything super specific for my internship placement. I told my coordinator that I’d like to get exposure to finance in any way possible. Needless to say, I’m happy with the internship I ended up getting. I was able to get a multifaceted experience in a startup, doing projects like researching our users, developing a model for cashback rewards on our card, writing articles, and more. Excited to follow Lance throughout its future!
