“Onward Israel offers the perfect balance between work and play, which was critical to my experience. Having a regimented work week was important to ensure that I made the most of my time at my internship.

I worked as a content writer and marketing intern for Odoro Systems, a medical software company based in Israel and New York City. At work, I would write blog posts, co-manage the company’s Linkedin Account and help out as the general “English guy” whenever needed. I met some really cool people, both Israeli and international who taught me a lot about the Healthcare IT industry, how to be a “true Israeli,” and about Tel Aviv generally.

The free time on Onward Israel compliments the work week beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed my evenings and weekends, which allowed me to explore Israeli life on my own or with friends. I often reminisce about the little things like hanging out at the beach, going to a famous restaurant, or playing the guitar at the local music store. I hope to remember my times exploring Jaffa, Florentine, markets and several other local gems that made the experience wholesome.

While I’m not entirely sure where my future will take me, at least I know I can count on my experiences with Onward Israel to help guide me on a path towards success!”
