Yonina Silverman

Onward Israel

Yonina, originally from New Jersey, now lives in Jerusalem, Israel. She went to Hunter College for her bachelor degree where she double majored in Psychology and Judaic Studies. During her senior year of college, she spent a semester abroad at Hebrew University and was a part of the Nachshon Project Undergraduate Fellowship. After graduation, she moved to Israel where she worked for Sachlav as an internship placement coordinator. She is currently studying for a double masters in Nonprofit management and Jewish Education. She is also a part of the Nachshon Project Graduate Fellowship. Yonina has spent her entire life at summer camp where she went from being a camper to the head of staff. She loves informal education and transmitting her passion for Judaism to her campers.
