Gush Dan Hybrid Summer Internship
Begin your summer exploring Israel and building your resume with a high-level internship in your field of interest. Take your new found connections and skills beyond your time on the ground by continuing to intern remotely for the second part of your summer.
Applications for Onward Israel 2020 programs are closed. Click here to be notified when they open for summer 2021.
The Onward Israel Hybrid program in the Gush Dan region offers you the opportunity to develop your professional future and build your resume through a high-level internship experience and the ability to build upon and/or continue the connection from home.
While in Israel, you will intern four to five days a week alongside Israeli peers and immerse yourself in contemporary Israeli society. Experience Israel through Onward Israel’s exclusive day trips, overnights and seminars. In your free time, explore amazing restaurants, beaches, and nightlife with a cohort of other young adults in the cities of Petah Tikva, Ramat Gan and the surrounding region.
During the Remote portion, you will keep working with your employer and begin working on a final project, you will continue your connection with your cohort through distance learning and activities. You’ll have the flexibility to end your summer adventure from home, school, or wherever you are returning and gain valuable skills in how best to work remotely.
Preference will be given to applicants who are not eligible for a campus or community/national partner based Onward Israel program.
This Onward Israel program is operated through a partnership between the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other leading philanthropists. It is organized by Sachlav.
If health and safety conditions in Israel do not allow for the program to take place on the ground, the program will shift to being entirely remote. The decision will be made by April 2021. Participants who do not wish to participate on an entirely remote program will be permitted to withdraw and receive a full refund for their program fee.
