The George Washington University Hillel Onward Israel program in the bustling start-up city of Tel Aviv offers you the opportunity to develop your professional future and build your resume through a high-level internship experience. Participants will get to live with other GW students on top of travel and learn throughout the experience. In addition, there will be Israel Seminar Days throughout your time in Israel, amongst other activities devoted to learning about Israeli society, economy, technology and more, plus one weekend retreat with other Onward Israel participants from North America and the world. They have the freedom to live in and explore Israel in a more independent way than just visiting Israel on a trip focused on touring.

GW Hillel is proud to invest in students who are thinking critically about the world and their careers. Both Onward Israel and GW Hillel work to keep the program cost as low as possible for you. We invest a significant amount in this program and are actively recruiting students who are committed to growing, learning, challenging themselves and returning to campus as a strong leader and supporter of building Jewish life at GW.

This Birthright Israel Onward- Masa program is operated through the philanthropic support of leading North American Foundations through the Birthright Israel Foundation, the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency, along with Hillel International and GW Hillel. It is organized by IGT. For more information about participating in a long-term Masa program after Birthright Israel Onward and the potential impact on future Masa grants, view our FAQ here.
