• Gather – Kibbutz Remote Work Retreat

    Gather brings together groups of professionals to live and work remotely on beautiful kibbutzim across Israel.


    Gather is a new program for young professionals who want to work remotely from Israel, while experiencing the communal kibbutz lifestyle.

    As Israel’s first remote work retreat, Gather enables participants to experience local life and build meaningful offline relationships, while keeping their day-job. During the month-long program, participants receive everything they need for a productive and inspiring stay, from accommodation and office space, to unique volunteer opportunities, inspiring meetups and Shabbat dinners.

    Important Information

    All participants are responsible for cost of and arranging their own flights.

    Participants will be required to submit a $250 program security deposit in cash upon arrival in Israel. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program pending good standing. Admission is rolling. Applications will close on February  15, 2019 or earlier if the program fills.

    Acceptance Criteria

    Participants must be between 18-25 years of age, and have not spent 3 or more months in Israel on an organized program post- high school (including semester abroad, gap year, or any other Masa or Onward Israel program).

    This program is open to young professionals from around the world who have a remote job or project they can work on during their stay on the kibbutz. Gather is not a job or internship provider.
