International work experiences can give you an edge in the job market, especially in marketing and communications fields. Participants will be matched with internships that connect to their creative passion and offer real-world experience in unique fields.
Priority will be given to students and young professionals affiliated with their local Chabad on Campus center. Previous participation in Taglit-Birthright Israel or a teen travel program is encouraged for any eligible applicants
This Onward Israel program is operated through a partnership between the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other lead philanthropists, The Jewish Agency for Israel, Chabad on Campus International and IsraeLinks. It is organized by Israel Experience LTD.
Track 1: June 11, 2018 – August 5, 2018
Track 2: June 21, 2018 – August 15, 2018
Includes housing, insurance, modest stipend for food, transportation and program costs. In addition, all accommodations, trips, and entrance fees for the traveling portion of the program.
Participants are responsible for cost of and arranging their own flights.
Participants will be required to submit a $250 credit card authorization as a participation and security deposit. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program pending good standing. Admission is rolling. Applications will close on March 1, 2018 or earlier if the program fills.
The actual cost of the Onward Israel program is much higher, and is subsidized up to 70% by Onward Israel, private donors, and local Jewish communities and institutions.
In apartment style housing in a Jerusalem neighborhood, accessible to the city center. The number of participants to an apartment or room is dependent on the size of the accommodations and number of participants on the program.

This program is open to young adults from around the world between the ages of 19-27 years old (or at least one full year post-high school at the start of the program) who have NOT spent 3 or more months in Israel as part of an educational or peer-program (this includes semester abroad, gap year or any other MASA or Onward Israel program).
The participants must be eligible for Onward Israel (more information here) and must be fluent in English.
Masa-eligible participants in programs which are part of the Onward/Masa partnership may qualify for additional scholarships. For more information, call Onward Israel or your local partner professional.
