Career Israel is a summer professional internship program open to Jewish college/university graduates from all over the world. The program provides internship placements in leading companies and organizations in the private and public sectors in Israel in every field including law, medicine, media, economics, politics, public relations, education, social work, engineering, computer science, advertising, business and more. - Applications are closed

Career Israel is Israel’s longest running professional internship program with a database of over 3,000 internships in fields ranging from law, to politics, to medicine, to startups and more . You will be living in apartment style accommodations in the heart of Tel Aviv (10 minute walk from the beach!). Our Internship Placement Coordinators will work with you to build your resume both before and after the program. Together with them you will find your ideal internship placement here in Israel.

This Onward Israel program is operated through a partnership between the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other leading philanthropists. It is organized by Israel Experience.
June 11 – August 2, 2018
Cost includes housing, insurance, modest food stipend, ground transportation and program costs.
The actual cost of the Onward Israel program is much higher, and is subsidized up to 70% by Onward Israel, private donors, and local Jewish communities and institutions. All participants are responsible for cost of and arranging their own flights.
Participants will be required to submit a $150 credit card authorization as a participation and security deposit. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program pending good standing. Admission is rolling. Applications will close on May 10th, 2018 or earlier if the program fills.

The number of participants to an apartment or room is dependent on the size of the accommodations and number of participants on the program.

This program is open to young adults from around the world with an interest in working in this area:
Between 19-27 years old (or at least one full year post-high school at the start of the program) who have NOT spent 3 or more months in Israel as part of an educational or peer-program (this includes semester abroad, gap year or any other MASA or Onward Israel program).
Applicants must be fluent in English.
Previous participation in Taglit-Birthright Israel is encouraged for any eligible applicants.
Preference will be given to applicants who are not eligible for a community or national partner based Onward Israel program.
