• Advance Internship

    The Onward Israel Advance Internship will allow participants to experience life in Israel while furthering their career goals through a serious, nine-week international work experience that provides a competitive edge in the job market.

    The Onward Israel Advance Internship program, organized by Israel Experience, is a nine-week experience. It includes five weeks of living and working in the Tel Aviv area, and four additional weeks in your home country continuing to work remotely in the same company. Our internship coordinators work one-on-one with each participant to assure a good match and continued support.

    This Onward Israel programs is operated through a partnership between the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other leading philanthropists.

    Important Information

    Remote Aug 21-Sept 15, 2022

    All participants will be  Birthright Israel alumni, and are responsible for the cost of and arranging your own flights to Israel. If you are participating directly after the Birthright Israel program you will be responsible for the change and cost fee of the flight. If you join the program right after participating in a Birthright Israel program you will be required to arrange your own accommodation and health insurance between the end of the Birthright Israel program and the beginning of this program.

    Program Cost
    $300 – Includes housing, insurance, modest food stipend, ground transportation and program costs.

    All participants are responsible for cost of and arranging their own flights.

    Participants will be required to submit a $250 program security deposit in credit card hold upon arrival in Israel. Deposits will be refunded at the end of the program pending good standing. Admission is rolling.

    Acceptance Criteria

    This program is open to 21-27 year-old Birthright alumni from around the world interested in an internship experience in Israel

    Participants can NOT have spent 3 or more months in Israel as part of an educational or peer-program (this includes semester abroad, gap year or any other MASA or Onward Israel program)

    Must be fluent in English

    Apartments or dorm-style housing in the Tel Aviv area.

    The number of participants to an apartment or room is dependent on the size of the accommodations and number of participants on the program.

    Please note, those who participate in an Onward for Birthright Alumni program will not be able to participate in an additional Onward Israel program in the future
